The Best Pubs In Barcelona City.
SHOKO PUB CLUB.
SHÔKO is the mythical maritime boulevard club, located next to Hotel Arts where the specialty is to offer a different and exclusive party every night.
It has a restaurant which combines Oriental and Mediterranean flavors. The wide variety of its menu for noon and night is very exotic, emphazising on traditional savors. The club is designed under the Feng-Shui concept and has five areas: Bambú, Privé, Lounge, Sala and Terrace, all decorated in a Japanese style.
When the restaurant closes its doors, SHÔKO transforms into a club. The lights dim and house as well as RnB music pump out of the speakers.
Let the fun begin!

For all Pere Calders fans – God has heard your prayers. The cul-de-sac named after the writer has recently become home to one of the loveliest spots in Sant Antoni. They have books by the Catalan author, the draught beer flows freely and there’s a selection of tapas that sends shivers of pleasure through the district. Obviously, the best thing to try is the vermouth. They stock four brands, but if you want to try a Priorat, then you should go for the one from Falset. Incidentally, the outdoor terrace is one of the district’s best kept secrets: You’ll just keep coming back.
CARPE DIEM BARCELONA CDLC
CDLC is one of the most exclusive clubs located by the beach and is the property of the footballer Patrick Kluivert. During more than five years it has added glamour and charm to the Barcelona night life, being one of the most elegant clubs in the city. Their special events are characterized by having luxury partners, like the Dom Pérignon Champagne or Roberto Cavalli Vodka.
Its decoration inspired by the orient merges elements from different cultures and religions and includes large couches, candles, colored cloths and carpets. It certainly creates a very multicultural and cosmopolitan ambience. Also the restaurant will surprise you, offering unique dishes fused with the spirit of the club.
With the nightfall, lights will be dimmed, the music volume rises progressively and the party continues on the dance floor. Choose between their four VIP areas: Morocco, Lounge, Bali and the Terrace, decorated with amazing beds to start your CDLC night with style.

Inside this stone-walled and smoke-filled lounge, Raval denizens dig the jazz jam on Wednesdays, the flamenco on Sundays and, in between times, DJs playing a genre-defying range of music (Joy Division and DJ Shadow on the same night). A manga-style mural on the back wall, by one of Barna's many graffiti artists, adds to the underground appeal. You'll need to ring the bell by the door to get in.

It has that shabby look that is shared by all alternative cultural associations. If what you’re looking for is gorgeous waiters, David Guetta on the deck and Absolut with Red Bull at exorbitant prices, you’d better go to Opium Mar. L'Antic Teatre is an old, recycled space, but has one of the best indoor terraces you’ll ever see. An enormous courtyard with vegetation dotted around haphazardly, ideal for kicking back with a beer or two and waiting for the show to begin. Mourinho could not have been more right: it’s a great place for theatre.

If this were a chart, Smoll would be number 1. There is nothing else like it in the city. A vintage matchbox that you might walk by and not even notice. It is a tiny bar decorated with retro lights, chairs and tables from the 1960s and 70s, a little aesthetic treasure that you can, if you want, take home with you. All the furniture -even the tableware- is for sale. If I ever win the Euromillions, I’ll go straight there and tell the barman with a smile: “I think I’ll have the whole bar”.
The Best Irish Bars !
The Temple Bar.
The Temple Bar is one of the nicer Irish pubs in Barcelona, just off the famous “Las Ramblas” its in a great location and always full of expats looking for a good pint. It’s a cosy pub with a good bar selection and they also serve simple TEX-MEX food!
The Temple Bar often has good live music and like most Irish pubs in Barcelona is great for sports. They show mostly football, and you can catch games from most big European leagues, especially the premier league. Because The Temple Bar is a relatively small pub there is always a good

Ryan's Bar Bcn.
P. Flaherty's
P. Flaherty’s is a chain of Irish pubs across Spain and the one in Barcelona is a favourite among many. It is in a great location in a sunny square just off “Las Ramblas” and only 5 minutes walk from the sea. Flaherty’s is a great traditional Irish pub and they have a great selection of drinks on tap for a good old pint. They also serve great British food for reasonable prices. Most of the staff seem to be expats and are very friendly.
They have loads of flat-screens and projectors and as many sports channels as you can imagine, so if you ask politely they will show any game you want to watch. It’s a good size pub, and they even have a pool room where you can play darts and pool.
If you want an Irish Pub in Barcelona where you can watch all the sports you want then P. Flaherty’s is for you.
Also check their Facebook page for news and offers!

Dunne's Bcn.
Dunne’s is a great Irish pub that many expats would say is their favourite Irish Pub in Barcelona, and it is easy to see why. Dunne’s is a wonderfully typical Irish Pub with great British/Irish food, good beer and friendly staff. As a Brit I felt right at home as soon as I walked in, the whole place has a warm welcoming feel to it. They have a lovely little outdoor terrace and of course some big flat screens for all the Barcelona football.
The pub is decorated with great care and attention to detail with authentic wooden bars and great leather seating. It makes for a wonderful dining and/or drinking experience.
If you’re looking for a nice Irish Pub in Barcelona where you can relax with friends, a nice pint and good food then this is the one for you.

The George Payne Bar.
The George Payne is the biggest Irish Pub in Barcelona. It’s layout reminds me of a big club with a huge hall and spectacular mezzanines either side. There are many bars in this Irish Pub, with a good selection of drinks, which are relatively cheap (although not as cheap as Ryan’s).
The George Payne also serves good pub food, with great Fries (Chips) that you can get with cheese garlic or Curry! I would also recommend their Gourmet burgers. And let’s not forget sports, they have loads of screens for watching all kinds of sport and as I found out, it gets very busy when Barcelona are playing.
Because it is so big you don’t get the same warm, welcoming feel as you would with most pubs and that is why I would describe The George Payne as more of a bar.

Michael Collins Pub BCN.
Michael Collins pub is wonderful old-fashioned Irish Pub in Barcelona that is close to La Sagrada Familia. It’s a large Irish Pub that is very popular, especially among expats in that area of Barcelona. They have a good selection of beers and Irish Whisky but it is a little expensive. The food is very traditional and its proper homemade pub food. I thought the Guinness steak pie was brilliant, although I would say the food is a little over priced.
If you’re looking for an old style cosy pub then this is the one for you.
